HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!

Tomorrow is August 14th and that means one thing...season premiere of DUCK DYNASTY, JACK! ;) I am SUPER excited. Who's with me?! I have been counting down the minutes and working hard on a product just for this SPECIAL event. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching an old episode and HEY! it hit me just as fast as Uncle Si's punch - I need to add a little Robertson touch to my classroom. What would be the perfect skill for this family to introduce? Why, of course! Fact and Opinion! Obviously, my next step was to e-mail my FAVORITE illustrator, Nikki from Melonheadz and make this request. And boy, I am HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY that I did! I about died when I saw how cute this bundle turned out! I am IN LOVE! Nikki is AMAZING!

Name Tag Desk Helpers and a GIVEAWAY!

Who LOVES to shop for back to school supplies?!? ME!! I was just putting in my order for the new year and really wanted to find name tags that included a 1-120 chart. Teacher websites must not be with Common Core standards yet because I couldn't find them anywhere! I decided that I MUST make my own to sell on TPT.. LOVE them! They'll spruce up my firsties' desks and match many color themes! I created 9 different color style backgrounds: red chevron, orange chevron, yellow chevron, green chevron, blue chevron, zebra print, giraffe print, and tiger print. There is also a name tag that has no border if you want to keep things simple! It just makes me happy that I can print them year after year. WAHOO! :)

Word Wall WHIZ Kids and a FREEBIE!

Today is officially my last day in Hawaii, but it has been an incredible summer for my husband and I! We have been here since the beginning of June for my husband's medical school rotations and now it is back to Maryland to get school prepping. AAH!! I am not looking forward to my early morning alarm clock, but can't wait to meet my new firsties! In between beach time and turtle snorkeling, I've been busy getting things ready, doing my online orders and spending TONS of time on TPT... my wishlist is FULL!

I'm super thrilled with my new TPT product because I've been thinking about it all year long.. yes it's true! On our first grade team, we introduce four new word wall words each week and allow plenty of time for mastery of these words during morning work time, centers, and homework. All year I thought about a consistent group of activities for our firsties to do weekly that will help them to become word wall WHIZ kids! It is finally here! Included in this product are three weeks of kindergarten review words and an entire year's worth of first grade word wall words. There are four activities that are to be repeated weekly and a few generic center or morning work activities at the end.

Deskside Manner

Hi everyone! Every classroom endures its bumps, bruises, and sniffles...OH MY!  I don't know about you, but I am always looking for ways to make my little ones feel important, happy, and loved.  When they are sick, injured or absent - they are still in need all of these things - if not MORE! That is why I am slightly (ok I am VERY) obsessed with my new product - Deskside Manner. Deskside Manner will warm the hearts of your kiddos and will make them feel better in no time. I know I will ALWAYS be prepared with a few Band-Aids, a box of Kleenex, and DESKSIDE MANNER in hand.
